How do I know which roll I need?

If your printer uses a ribbon, then you’ll need a plain paper or “bond“ roll for your printer. If your printer doesn’t use a ribbon, then it will use our thermal based papers.

What's the best way to store my rolls?

Correct storage of your rolls is important to ensure good imaging and also promote the shelf life. Please store away from direct sunlight, areas of high humidity, excessive heat and damp conditions.

How long does the image last?

Image life for thermal receipts can vary according to the paper grade and where and how the receipt is stored. The following points are factors that can effect image life of a thermal receipt.

a)      AVOID HOT AND/OR HUMID ENVIRONMENTS

b)      AVOID EXPOSURE TO DIRECT SUNLIGHT

c)       DO NOT USE SOLVENT-TYPE ADHESIVES ON THE RECEIPT PAPER

d)      AVOID CONTACT WITH PLASTICIZERS (PLASTIC POCKETS, STICKY TAPE ETC)

What do the terms BPA free and FSC mean?

The BPA reference refers to a chemical often used in the making of thermal papers. There has been commentary surrounding BPA and its possible harmful effects. We at Alliance Paper offer a range of thermal papers BPA free for added safety.

Our FSC accreditation is based upon our demonstrated ability for sustainable sourcing right from forest to end user. This is a highly respected worldwide accreditation that underpins our responsible environmental position.

Can I customise print on the back of the roll?

Plain receipts represent valuable “real estate” for potential and existing customers. Whether it be to state the terms and conditions of sale or invite the customer back with bonus incentives. Alliance can look after the complete process from concept, design, right through to production, we handle it all.

We are true experts in this field so give us a call or fill out our enquiry form for further details

Do you have a minimum order quantity?

Depending on your requirements, we do have minimum order quantities on lines that are made to order. For lines that we hold in stock (and there is a huge range) we have a cartons (quantity varies with roll size) as our minimum order quantity.
